Dance Music on iTunes

It's not easy to find good dance music, since many of these songs were not specifically written to be danced to. In most cases, the songs were interpreted to be Rumbas, Foxtrots, Two Steps, etc. after the songs were released and become well-known. In albums, the individual songs are often grouped with other songs by the same artist without a label for the "dance style". Thanks to iTunes, we can now sample and purchase individual songs for less than a dollar each. However, finding these dance "gems" can still be a challenge. Hopefully, this list will help people find some good songs for dancing! If you come across other hidden gems on iTunes, please send them to me or post a link on the forum (http://dancedispatch.com/forums)!

* Click on the links to the right of the songs to be directed to the iTunes store, where you can listen to the songs, and purchase them for 99 cents each (Note: Some songs are available only as part of complete albums). If iTunes is not currently installed on your computer, you will be directed to a site where you may download iTunes for free.
