I took my first dance class at Stanford University in 1997. The class was entitled, "Social Dances of North America I", taught by Richard Powers. Six weeks later, I attended my first Stanford Viennese Ball. Since then, I've attended the Viennese Ball every year and most of the Jammix dances at Stanford.

In 2000, I joined my first performance dance group, the Stanford Viennese Ball Opening Committee. Since then, I've performed with the Opening Committee two more times and was a member of the Stanford Vintage Dance Ensemble and Academy of Danse Libre for two seasons in each group. Below, you'll find movies of several perfomances by the groups.

In 2001, a partner and I choreographed an intricate wedding waltz for our friends' wedding. We found the experience so fun and rewarding that we taught wedding dancing in our spare time for two years. Below, you'll find a movie of our first choreography, danced by us in front of the Stanford Church.

In 2003, I began to work as a dance instructor at Starlite Dance Club. Below is a compilation video of the 8 student showcase routines and 2 professional shows that I performed in during 2004 and 2005.
